At the meeting, Kong Wei, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of the college, Li Guangmin, Vice Dean of the college, and Tan Lifeng, Vice Dean of the college, respectively, detailedly introduced the work ideas and specific initiatives for 2025 combining with their responsibilities in their respective areas. Subsequently, faculties from the party and government office, teaching office, and student work office sections respectively made a comprehensive report from three dimensions with introducing the new semester plan, key work for March and also for the whole semester. The report covers the content such as formulation of the college's “Fifteen-Five” plan, strengthening the connotation construction, promoting the inspection and rectification work, continuing to improve the college's governance system,  strengthening the management of education and teaching, improving and optimizing the arrangement of foreign courses; continuing to promote the cultivation of talents, ensuring a good job in registering for the two universities in Poland, re-examination of postgraduates, the preparation of the new batch of students to go abroad, and planning for graduation ceremonies; continuing to promote employment services and strengthening the guidance of employment work for the class of 2025.

The meeting emphasized that all faculty members should strengthen political theory and policy learning, further update the concept of school running, and deepen the sense of mission of “building a strong education nation” and “what is the purpose of ISE”. They should firstly take the initiative to learn cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence, optimize management services by digital means, and comprehensively improve the effectiveness of governance; secondly deepen the synergy of work, and promote the quality and efficiency of teaching, management, services and other work; thirdly adhere to the goal-oriented, refine the task list, and strengthen the implementation of responsibilities; finally insist on the quality first, and comprehensively improve the quality of talent cultivation in Sino-foreign cooperative education to contribute to the strategy of “brand-strengthening”．

The wind is strong and the tide is surging, so we should break the waves and move forward; No matter how hard the task is, we should make the best efforts. The meeting called on the whole college to take this deployment as a starting point, and at the alternating point of the“14th Five-Year Plan” and “15th Five-Year Plan” , all faculties should integrate personal duties into the overall situation of the college's development, and anchor in the “Cultivating Internationalized Composite Engineering Talents” looking from a higher position and with stronger commitment. The overall planning and coordination leads to the convergence of forces, and the precise measure promotes the implementation. Let’s strive to write a new chapter of the College's leapfrog development, and jointly create a better future for the International School of Engineering.
