To strengthen communication between students studying in Poland and faculty from Polish partner universities, eliminate misunderstandings arising from cultural and educational differences, and address practical challenges faced by students in their studies, the International School of Engineering (ISE) recently organized a series of China-Poland faculty-student symposiums. These events facilitated in-depth discussions on the operational aspects of Sino-foreign cooperative education and advanced continuous improvements in teaching quality.
4月25日，学院在波兰克拉科夫工业大学Kanonicza Street校区二楼会议室召开教师教学工作座谈会。会议伊始，随行教师唐浩简要介绍了会议的目的与流程。随后，课程负责人Porębska Anna、Dendura Bartosz Maciej、Motak Maciej Radomir 和 Marta Urbańska 依次发言，围绕2020级本科生毕业设计的过程管理与指导、远程教学平台Teams的使用难点及学生课堂参与情况等方面进行了深入探讨与经验分享。会议最后，唐浩老师对所提出的问题进行了全面总结，并就后续改进提出建议，包括加强系统使用培训、优化毕业设计指导机制、提升师生沟通效率等，以确保教学工作的顺利推进和教学质量的不断提升。
On April 25, a faculty teaching workshop was held in the conference room on the second floor of Kanonicza Street Campus at Cracow University of Technology. The meeting began with a brief introduction to its objectives and agenda by accompanying faculty member Tang Hao. Subsequently, course leaders Porębska Anna, Dendura Bartosz Maciej, Motak Maciej Radomir, and Marta Urbańska delivered presentations. They engaged in thorough discussions and shared experiences on topics such as the management and supervision of graduation projects for the Class of 2020 undergraduates, challenges in using the remote teaching platform Microsoft Teams, and student engagement. At the conclusion, Tang Hao summarized the issues raised and proposed follow-up improvement measures, including enhanced system training, optimized graduation project guidance mechanisms, and improved teacher-student communication efficiency, to ensure the smooth progress of teaching and sustained quality enhancement.
4月29日，学院在波兰比亚威斯托克工业大学土木工程与环境科学学院继续召开师生座谈会。国际工程学院波方副院长Beata Backiel-Brzozowska，土木工程专业系主任Agnieszka Jabłońska-Krysiewicz，环境工程专业系主任Beata Biernacka以及多位波方教师代表参会。国际工程学院2022级土木工程和环境工程专业学生代表，随行教师孙晓涵、王坤朋一同参加会议。座谈中，学生代表积极发言，介绍了在比亚威斯托克工业大学学习期间所遇到的问题；与会教师也分享了他们在教学过程中的观察与思考。双方在友好和谐的氛围中坦诚交流，充分认识到一些问题根源于文化及教育背景的差异，并一致表示将进一步加强沟通与理解，持续优化教学方法，保障教学工作的高效开展。
On April 29, another symposium was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of Białystok University of Technology (BUT). Attendees included Beata Backiel-Brzozowska, Vice Dean of ISE at the Polish side; Agnieszka Jabłońska-Krysiewicz, Director of the Civil Engineering Department; Beata Biernacka, Director of the Environmental Engineering Department; and other Polish faculty representatives. Student representatives from the Class of 2022 in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, along with accompanying faculty members Sun Xiaohan and Wang Kunpeng, also participated. During the symposium, student representatives actively voiced challenges encountered during their studies at BUT, while faculty members shared observations and reflections from their teaching practices. In a cordial and constructive atmosphere, both sides acknowledged that some issues stemmed from cultural and educational differences. They unanimously agreed to strengthen communication, deepen mutual understanding, and continuously refine teaching methods to ensure efficient and effective educational delivery.
此次中波师生座谈会不仅搭建了一个良好的沟通桥梁，也为后续中外合作办学工作的改进指明了方向。通过倾听一线教师与学生的真实声音，学院将不断总结经验、调整策略，推动中外合作教学更加高效、务实地向前发展，努力实现高质量国际化人才培养目标。
These symposiums not only established a robust communication bridge between teachers and students from China and Poland but also charted a clear path for improving future Sino-foreign cooperative education. By listening to the genuine feedback of frontline faculty and students, ISE will continue to refine strategies, accumulate experience, and advance international collaborative education in a pragmatic and efficient manner, striving to achieve the goal of cultivating high-quality global talents.
