为拓展学生国际视野，搭建多元交流与成长的平台，国际工程学院自2021年起创办“一带一路”研习社。社团旨在助力学生深入了解“一带一路”合作国家的文化风貌与建设成果，提升跨文化沟通与理解能力，并进一步调动学生在科技创新与英语应用方面的热情，营造融学术与实践于一体的学院文化氛围。让每一位学子在探索丝路新篇中成长，为投身国际工程领域、讲好中国建设故事积蓄力量。
To broaden students' international horizons and establish a platform for diverse exchange and growth, the School of International Engineering launched the Belt and Road Study Society in 2021. The society aims to assist students in gaining a deeper understanding of the cultural landscapes and developmental achievements of Belt and Road partner nations, enhancing their cross-cultural communication and comprehension skills. It further seeks to stimulate students' enthusiasm for technological innovation and English application, fostering a school culture that integrates academic study with practical engagement. This enables every student to grow through exploring new chapters of the Silk Road, building capacity to engage in the field of international engineering and effectively convey China's development narrative.

截至目前，“一带一路”研习社共举办了42场英语论坛讲座，涉及科技文化创意类竞赛的活动有13场，举办了19场科技论坛以及10场中外文化建设交流会。在2022-2023学年度，社团荣获了校级和院级两个优秀社团的荣誉，在2023-2024学年天津市“活力社团”评选中荣登前TOP100。
To date, the Belt and Road Research Society has hosted 42 English-language forum lectures, organised 13 events related to science, technology, and cultural creativity competitions, convened 19 science forums, and facilitated 10 Sino-foreign cultural exchange sessions. During the 2022-2023 academic year, the society was honoured with university-level and faculty-level awards for excellence. In the 2023-2024 Tianjin Municipal "Vitality Society" selection, it achieved a place within the top 100.
社团紧密依托学院教学特色，常态化开展各类品牌活动，以实践助力国际交流。针对即将赴波兰交流的同学，我社精心策划行前宣讲会、线上答疑会，并开设签证办理与使用指导专题活动，为学子扫清出行障碍；波兰合作院校人员来访时，社团组建的志愿者团队全程热情接待，陪同外宾走访校园、深入学院交流；即便在学生赴波留学期间，社团仍持续推动社会实践、经验分享、学术研讨及课程互助等活动，让跨校交流做到“不断线”。
The society closely aligns with the faculty's academic strengths, regularly organising signature events to foster international exchange through practical engagement. For students preparing to study in Poland, we meticulously planned pre-departure briefings and online Q&A sessions, alongside dedicated workshops on visa processing and usage guidance to eliminate travel hurdles. When visiting staff from our Polish partner institutions arrived, our volunteer team provided warm hospitality throughout their stay, accompanying guests on campus tours and facilitating in-depth faculty exchanges. Even whilst students are studying in Poland, the society continues to facilitate social practice initiatives, experience-sharing sessions, academic seminars, and coursework support activities, ensuring cross-institutional exchange remains seamlessly connected.
社团为深化学生互动、传承海外求学经验，我社鼓励在波留学生以视频形式，记录并分享海外学习生活的鲜活点滴。同时，社团创新推出“云”留学经验分享、留学指南针活动，搭建起国内外学生即时交流的桥梁。国内同学可通过这一平台，直面咨询留学相关的生活细节、学习心得与挑战应对策略，轻松获取真实直观的留学参考与实用建议，为未来可能的海外求学之路提前蓄力。
To deepen student interaction and pass on overseas study experiences, our society encourages Polish students to document and share vivid moments of their academic life abroad through video format. Concurrently, the society has innovatively launched a 'cloud' study experience sharing initiative,Study Abroad Compass Event, establishing a bridge for real-time exchange between domestic and international students. Domestic students can utilise this platform to directly consult on practical aspects of overseas study, including daily life, academic insights, and strategies for overcoming challenges. This provides accessible, authentic, and practical guidance, helping them build momentum for potential future study abroad endeavours.
社团以活动为纽带，通过举办波兰文化沙龙、留学经验座谈等活动，为成员搭建起互动交流、共同进步的平台；同时，我社持续协助开展“国工大讲堂”系列学术讲座、"OPEN OFFICE HOURS"外教面对面活动等，既助力学生深化专业认知、点燃学科探索热情，更推动形成积极向上、互学共进的学术共同体。
The society fosters interaction and mutual growth among members through activities such as Polish cultural salons and study abroad experience forums. Concurrently, our ongoing 'National University of Technology Lecture Series' delivers academic talks、“OPEN OFFICE HOURS” and other face-to-face activities with foreign teachers that deepen students' disciplinary understanding, ignite their passion for scholarly exploration, and cultivate a vibrant academic community characterised by mutual learning and collective advancement.

In our society activities, we consistently align with the essence of the Belt and Road Initiative and contemporary social issues. We have innovatively introduced English-enhanced segments, guiding members to explore the similarities and differences between China and Poland across cultural, educational, and technological domains. Simultaneously, we skilfully integrate film clips, news events, and topical social materials, interspersing explanations of English grammar to stimulate members' enthusiasm through engaging and entertaining formats. This approach effectively enhances activity interactivity and fosters proactive learning.

Looking ahead, the society will continue to develop distinctive activities that offer comprehensive coverage and multi-dimensional integration, further enhancing internal cohesion and innovative vitality. We shall deepen collaboration with other campus societies to amplify synergistic effects, optimise our promotional matrix, and attract greater participation from students across faculties and year groups. As young people of the new era, students of Urban Construction will utilise the Belt and Road Research Society as a vital platform to profoundly uphold the Silk Road spirit of "peaceful cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual appreciation, and mutual benefit and win-win outcomes", steadfastly embodying our university motto of "Values and Capabilities, Learning and Building". Through international exchange practices, we shall pursue excellence, continuously enhance our comprehensive qualities, broaden our global perspectives, and strengthen our cross-cultural competitiveness.
