12月5日，新时代中外合作办学教育成果交流研讨会暨南开大学-格拉斯哥大学联合研究生院建院10周年交流会在南开大学津南校区隆重召开。国际工程学院党总支书记杨萍、院长黄凌翔受邀出席，党政办公室有关工作人员陪同参会。
On December 5, the Symposium on Educational Achievements in Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education in the New Era and the 10th Anniversary Exchange Meeting of the Nankai University-University of Glasgow Joint Graduate School were grandly convened at Nankai University's Jinnan Campus. Yang Ping, Secretary of the General Party Branch of ISE, and Dean Huang Lingxiang were invited to attend, accompanied by relevant staff members from the Party and Administrative Office.
本次会议以“中外合作育英才，创新赋能拓新篇”为主题，既是对南开大学-格拉斯哥大学联合研究生院建院十周年的重要纪念，也是全国中外合作办学领域成果交流的重要平台。来自南开大学、西北工业大学、东北大学、北京化工大学、天津城建大学等全国多所高校中外合作办学领域的专家、学者齐聚一堂，分享中外合作办学的实践经验与创新成果，共话国际化人才培养新路径和合作办学高质量发展新方向。
This conference, themed “Fostering Talent Through Sino-Foreign Collaboration, Empowering Innovation to Forge New Frontiers,” serves both as a significant commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Nankai University-University of Glasgow Joint Graduate School and as a vital platform for sharing achievements in Sino-foreign cooperative education nationwide. Experts and scholars from numerous universities across China, including Nankai University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Northeastern University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Tianjin Chengjian University, gathered to share practical experiences and innovative achievements in Sino-foreign cooperative education. They discussed new pathways for cultivating international talent and new directions for the high-quality development of cooperative education.
会上，黄凌翔院长以“新工科国际化人才培养的探索与实践”为题，分享了天津城建大学的国际化进程、国际工程学院的基本情况，以及学院在新工科国际化人才培养方面的探索与实践。结合实际，他提出了“深度融入共建‘一带一路’，建设具有国际影响力的重要教育中心”的未来展望与发展思路。与会期间，杨萍书记、黄凌翔院长与参会嘉宾围绕中外合作办学面临的挑战和发展机遇等议题展开了深入讨论，为学院合作办学的高质量发展注入了新思路、新活力。
At the meeting, Dean Huang Lingxiang delivered a presentation titled “Exploration and Practice in Cultivating International Talent for New Engineering Disciplines.” He shared insights into Tianjin Chengjian University's internationalization journey, the fundamental profile of the International Engineering College, and the college's pioneering efforts in nurturing globally competitive professionals for new engineering fields. Drawing from practical experience, he outlined a future vision and development strategy: “Deeply integrating into the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative to establish a major educational hub with international influence.” During the event, Secretary Yang Ping and Dean Huang Lingxiang engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees on challenges and development opportunities in Sino-foreign cooperative education. These exchanges injected fresh perspectives and vitality into advancing the high-quality development of the school's cooperative education initiatives.
国际工程学院始终坚持贯彻落实全国教育大会精神，积极响应‘一带一路’发展战略，深度融入天津教育开放形势，全力推动学校国际化发展战略。下一步，国际工程学院还将进一步加强与各兄弟高校的常态化交流合作，积极探索“一带一路”背景下的教育合作新场景，推动学院国际化办学水平再上新台阶。
ISE remains steadfast in implementing the guiding principles of the National Education Conference, actively aligning with the Belt and Road development strategy, and deeply integrating into Tianjin's educational openness landscape to fully advance the university's internationalization strategy. Moving forward, the School will further strengthen regular exchanges and cooperation with partner institutions, actively explore new educational collaboration models within the Belt and Road framework, and elevate the school's internationalization standards to new heights.
