云端共话成长,聚力领航征程 | 国际工程学院召开在波学习师生线上座谈会

为充分了解赴波师生的学习生活情况,持续深化跨境人才培养实效近日,国际工程学院召开在波兰克拉科夫工业大学与波兰比亚威斯托克工业大学学习师生线上座谈会。学院领导班子、教师代表与在波学子云端相聚,共话留学收获,齐绘成长蓝图。座谈会由学生工作教师尹建杰主持。


To gain a comprehensive understanding of the academic and living conditions of students and staff studying in Poland and to further enhance the effectiveness of cross-border talent development, ISE recently convened an online symposium for students and faculty members studying at the Cracow University of  Technology and the Bialystok University of Technology in Poland. The school's leadership team, faculty representatives, and students in Poland gathered virtually to discuss their study abroad experiences and jointly chart their future development plans. The symposium was chaired by Mr Yin Jianjie, a faculty member responsible for student affairs.

会议伊始,在波兰的随行教师景一帆作了详实的阶段性学习情况汇报。他介绍,在波本科同学在语言适应与学术基础衔接上表现良好,实现了从理论到实践的平稳过渡;在波研究生则面临课程密度大、作业量多的挑战,但通过强化时间管理、优化学习方法,尤其在实践环节中收获显著。景老师特别分享了师生共同参与的国际学术与文化活动,如应大使馆邀请出席波兰“构建协同与开放”论坛、参加第35届欧洲风景园林学会国际会议等,展现了学子们活跃于国际舞台的风采。他还提到,为优化管理服务,驻地教师房间已改造为兼具办公与交流功能的空间,成为同学们的“海外家园”。


At the outset of the meeting, Jing Yifan, the accompanying teacher in Poland, delivered a detailed interim report on the students' academic progress. He noted that undergraduate students had demonstrated strong language adaptation and academic foundation alignment, achieving a smooth transition from theory to practice. Postgraduate students, however, faced challenges posed by intensive coursework and substantial assignments. Through enhanced time management and optimised study methods, they had made particularly significant gains in practical components. Mr Jing highlighted joint international academic and cultural engagements involving both staff and students, such as attending Poland's "Building Synergy and Openness" forum at the embassy's invitation and participating in the 35th International Conference of the European Society for Landscape Architecture. These activities demonstrated the students' active presence on the global stage. He further mentioned that to enhance management services, the resident teachers' quarters had been converted into multifunctional spaces combining office facilities with communal areas, serving as a "home away from home" for the students.

随后,三位学生代表分享了他们在波兰的学习生活感悟。从学术前沿探索、实践研究到核心课程攻坚,多维度、立体化地展现了国工学子在海外克服挑战、主动融入、追求卓越的真实图景。他们的经历,不仅是个人学业的进阶,更是学院国际化人才培养理念的生动实践。


Subsequently, three student representatives shared their reflections on studying and living in Poland. From exploring academic frontiers and undertaking practical research to tackling core coursework, they presented a multidimensional, comprehensive picture of how students from ISE overcome challenges, actively integrate, and pursue excellence overseas. Their experiences represent not only personal academic advancement but also a vivid embodiment of the School's philosophy of cultivating internationally-minded talent.

2024级建筑学研究生张艺唯讲述了参与高水平国际会议如何极大地拓展了他的学术视野与研究格局。


Zhang Yiwei, a postgraduate student in architecture from the Class of 2024, recounted how participating in high-calibre international conferences has significantly broadened his academic horizons and research outlook.

2023级建筑学本科生李鹤鸣分享了以小组形式深入调研波兰经典建筑的实践经历,将课堂理论应用于实地案例分析之中。


Li Heming, a Year 2023 undergraduate student in Architecture, shared his practical experience of conducting in-depth research into Poland's classic architecture through group work, applying classroom theory to real-world case studies.

2023级风景园林本科生彭汐冉则聚焦于以Studio V为核心的紧凑课程,表示虽任务繁重,但专业设计与思维能力得到了扎实锻炼。


Peng Xiran, a 2023 Landscape Architecture undergraduate, focused on the intensive Studio V-centred curriculum, noting that while demanding, it provided robust training in professional design and critical thinking.

在认真聆听了师生汇报后,国际工程学院党总支副书记孔伟对同学们的表现给予肯定,并就下一阶段的学习生活提出了具体要求。他勉励同学们要持续强化自主管理与安全防范意识,珍惜宝贵时光,深化专业学习,主动融入跨文化环境,展现国工学子勤奋笃实的优良风貌


After attentively reviewing the student and faculty presentations, Kong Wei, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, commended the students' performance and outlined specific requirements for the next phase of their studies. He encouraged students to persistently strengthen self-management and safety awareness, cherish their valuable time, deepen their professional studies, actively integrate into cross-cultural environments, and demonstrate the diligent and steadfast ethos characteristic of students from the ISE of Landscape Architecture.


国际工程学院院长黄凌翔作总结讲话。他首先对远在波兰努力求学的全体同学致以亲切慰问,对带队教师的辛勤付出表示感谢。他寄语全体在波学子,要胸怀“国之大者”,将个人学业融入国家发展需要,充分利用海外优质教育资源,既要潜心钻研成为专业领域的“行家里手”,也要积极担当中华优秀文化的传播者,努力成长为兼具家国情怀与国际视野的卓越工程人才。学院将永远是同学们的坚强后盾,持续为大家的海外求学之路提供全力支持与保障。


Dean Huang Lingxiang delivered concluding remarks. He first extended warm regards to all students diligently pursuing their studies in Poland and expressed gratitude to the accompanying faculty for their dedicated efforts. He urged all students in Poland to embrace the "greater good of the nation," aligning their academic pursuits with national development needs. He encouraged them to fully leverage high-quality overseas educational resources, striving not only to become experts in their fields through dedicated research but also to actively serve as ambassadors of China's outstanding culture. He called on them to grow into exceptional engineering talents possessing both patriotic sentiment and an international outlook. The School would remain their steadfast support, providing comprehensive assistance and safeguards throughout their overseas studies.


本次座谈会是国际工程学院落实精细化、全程化跨境学生管理服务的重要举措,有效搭建了学院与海外学子的沟通桥梁,凝聚了共识,传递了关怀,为学院进一步优化国际化人才培养模式奠定了坚实基础。学院将继续秉持立德树人根本任务,持续推进“星途逐梦”计划,助力每一位学子在世界舞台上绽放光彩。


This symposium represents a significant initiative by ISE to implement refined, comprehensive cross-border student management services. It has effectively built a communication bridge between the School and its overseas students, fostering consensus and conveying care, thereby laying a solid foundation for further optimising the School's international talent cultivation model. The School will continue to uphold its fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education, persistently advancing the "Star Path Pursuit" programme to empower every student to shine on the global stage.
