为进一步强化学院师生的消防安全意识，提高应对高层建筑火灾的紧急自救能力，12月31日，国际工程学院与学校保卫处共同组织开展高层建筑消防应急演练和安全培训活动。保卫处副处长杨晓东、国际工程学院副院长谭立峰，保卫处、相关楼宇物业以及师生代表30余人参加活动。

To further strengthen the fire safety awareness of all faculty and students and enhance their emergency self-rescue capabilities in response to high-rise building fires, the ISE , in conjunction with the University Security Department, organized a high-rise building fire emergency drill and safety training session on December 31.Yang Xiaodong, Deputy Director of the University Security Department, Tan Lifeng, Vice Dean of the ISE, as well as over 30 participants including staff from the Security Department, property management personnel of relevant buildings, and representatives of faculty and students, took part in the event.

活动前，国际工程学院副院长谭立峰老师为大家讲解了本次演练的步骤和一些注意事项。

Prior to the event, Mr. Tan Lifeng, Vice Dean of the ISE, explained the procedures of the drill and relevant precautions to all participants.

现场师生按照演练步骤，模拟了发现火情，及时报警，用毛巾或衣物紧捂口鼻，弯腰低姿，根据安全指示牌和老师指引，有序撤离至安全区域，以及学院教师使用灭火器进行初起火灾灭火的场景。

All faculty and students present followed the drill procedures and simulated a series of scenarios: discovering a fire and reporting it promptly; covering their mouths and noses tightly with towels or clothes, bending down to keep a low profile, and evacuating in an orderly manner to the safe zone in accordance with the safety signs and teachers' guidance; as well as faculty members of the ISE using fire extinguishers to put out an incipient fire.

演练结束后，保卫处安全管理科刘畅老师为大家详细讲解了灭火器的使用步骤；郭俊勇老师说明了学校的应急联动处置流程以及逃生技巧；保卫处副处长杨晓东强调预防火灾的重要性，提醒大家一定要有安全意识，安全是底线。

After the drill, Mr. Liu Chang from the Safety Management Section of the University Security Department gave a detailed explanation to all participants on the operating procedures of fire extinguishers. Mr. Guo Junyong elaborated on the university’s emergency joint response process and some essential escape skills. Yang Xiaodong, Deputy Director of the University Security Department, emphasized the importance of fire prevention, reminding everyone to always maintain a strong safety awareness and that safety is the bottom line that must never be crossed.

为做好冬季校园安全工作，有效防范和遏制各类安全事故发生，保障全院师生生命财产安全与教学科研秩序稳定，国际工程学院近期组织开展专项检查，由院领导带队成立专项检查小组，带头深入教学楼、宿舍、消防通道等重点场所，细致排查消防、用电安全等。对发现隐患建立台账，明确责任与时限，实行销号整改。

To ensure campus safety during winter and effectively prevent and curb various safety incidents, safeguarding the lives and property of all faculty and students while maintaining stable teaching and research operations, the ISE recently organized a special inspection. Led by school leadership, a dedicated inspection team conducted thorough checks in key areas such as teaching buildings, dormitories, meticulously examining fire safety, electrical usage, and heating facilities. A ledger was established for identified hazards, with clear responsibilities and deadlines assigned for rectification through a tick-off system.

安全无小事，责任大于天。国际工程学院始终将安全工作摆在突出位置，通过常态化安全专项检查与安全培训活动，进一步提升学院师生的消防安全意识，增强师生在紧急情况下的自救互救能力，营造全员关注消防、参与消防的良好氛围。未来，国际工程学院将持续加强安全巡查与常态化排查，加大学生安全教育力度，压实安全责任，织密织牢校园安全防护网，为学院高质量发展营造安全稳定的良好环境。

Safety is no trivial matter; responsibility is paramount. The ISE consistently prioritizes safety. Through regular specialized safety inspections and training activities, the school has further enhanced faculty and students' fire safety awareness, strengthened their self-rescue and mutual aid capabilities in emergencies, and fostered a positive atmosphere where everyone is attentive to and participates in fire safety. Moving forward, the ISE will intensify safety patrols and routine inspections, strengthen student safety education, reinforce accountability, and weave a robust campus safety net. These efforts will cultivate a secure and stable environment conducive to the school's high-quality development.
