跨越山海话教学,中波携手促融通 | 国际工程学院开展2025-2026春季学期中波师生座谈会

为消除因文化和教育背景差异带来的理解偏差,切实解决学生在波学习期间遇到的实际问题,2026年4月28日,天津城建大学国际工程学院在波兰比亚威斯托克工业大学(BUT)召开中波师生座谈会。国际工程学院波方副院长Beata Backiel‑Brzozowska教授主持会议,土木工程与环境工程专业十余位波方任课教师、2023级学生代表以及随行教师刘今朝、胡洋共同参会。会议在坦诚、务实的轻松氛围中进行,双方围绕课程衔接、语言障碍、教学节奏与毕业流程等关键议题展开了深入交流。


To bridge the communication gaps caused by differences in cultural and educational backgrounds and effectively address the practical challenges students face during their studies in Poland, the ISE held a Sino-Polish faculty and student forum at the Bialystok University of Technology (BUT) in Poland on April 28, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Professor Beata Backiel-Brzozowska, the Polish Vice Dean of the International School of  Engineering. Over a dozen Polish faculty members from the Civil and Environmental Engineering programs, representatives of the Class of 2023, and accompanying faculty members Liu Jinchao and Hu Yang attended the event. The meeting took place in a frank, pragmatic, and relaxed atmosphere, with both sides engaging in in-depth discussions on key issues such as curriculum alignment, language barriers, teaching pace, and graduation procedures.

座谈会上,首先由波方教师做出系统性的建议。波方教师代表首先肯定了同学们的努力和潜力,同时也围绕教学沟通、毕业进度和规范使用等实际问题进行了交流。有教师指出,学生在通过邮件或线上平台联系波方老师时,有时只提问题、忘记说明自己的姓名和所属专业,容易造成回复延迟,建议养成规范的沟通习惯;针对高年级同学,部分教师提到毕业相关材料的提交不够及时,提醒大家主动与导师保持同步;在毕业设计环节,双方还就中波不同的设计规范体系展开了讨论,波方表示后续会组织专门说明,帮助学生在两种规范之间找到合理平衡。


At the symposium, faculty members from the Polish side began by offering systematic recommendations. Representatives from the Polish faculty first acknowledged the students’ hard work and potential, and then discussed practical issues such as teaching communication, graduation progress, and adherence to established protocols. One faculty member pointed out that when students contact Polish instructors via email or online platforms, they sometimes ask questions without stating their name or major, which can lead to delays in responses; they recommended developing proper communication habits. Regarding senior students, some faculty members mentioned that the submission of graduation-related materials was not timely enough and reminded everyone to proactively stay in sync with their advisors. Regarding the graduation project phase, both sides also discussed the differences between Chinese and Polish design standards. The Polish side indicated that they would organize a special briefing in the future to help students find a reasonable balance between the two sets of standards.

座谈中,学生代表积极发言,介绍了在比亚威斯托克工业大学学习期间所遇到的问题;与会教师也分享了他们在教学过程中的观察与思考。双方在友好和谐的氛围中坦诚交流,充分认识到一些问题根源于文化及教育背景的差异,并一致表示将进一步加强沟通与理解,持续优化教学方法,保障教学工作的高效开展。


During the discussion, student representatives actively shared their views and described the challenges they had encountered while studying at the Bialystok University of Technology; faculty members also shared their observations and reflections on the teaching process. In a friendly and harmonious atmosphere, both sides engaged in candid exchanges, fully recognizing that some issues stemmed from differences in cultural and educational backgrounds. They unanimously agreed to further strengthen communication and mutual understanding, continuously improve teaching methods, and ensure the effective implementation of educational programs.

此次座谈会不仅为在波师生搭建了高效对话的桥梁,也为中外合作办学后续工作的改进指明了方向。作为我国与波兰合作的首个中外合作办学机构,国际工程学院自2020年正式揭牌成立以来,已累计派出逾600名师生赴波兰开展交流学习,构建起持续稳定的校际合作机制。通过倾听一线教师与学生的真实声音,学院将持续总结经验、调整策略,推动中外合作教学更加高效、务实地向前发展,努力实现高质量国际化人才培养目标。跨国合作因沟通而深入,多元文化因融通而精彩。未来,国际工程学院将继续深化与波兰高校的产学研协同,引导学生在国际交流中拓宽专业视野,在坚定文化自信的同时提升实操能力,努力成长为堪当民族复兴大任的新时代工程人才。


This symposium not only established an effective channel for dialogue between faculty and students in Poland but also charted a course for improving future Sino-foreign cooperative education initiatives. As the first Sino-foreign cooperative education institution established between China and Poland, the International School of Engineering has sent more than 600 faculty members and students to Poland for exchange and study since its official inauguration in 2020, thereby establishing a sustainable and stable mechanism for inter-university cooperation. By listening to the genuine feedback from frontline faculty and students, the school will continue to summarize experiences and adjust strategies to promote the efficient and pragmatic development of Sino-foreign cooperative education, striving to achieve the goal of cultivating high-quality international talent. Cross-border cooperation deepens through communication, and multiculturalism flourishes through integration. In the future, the International School of Engineering will continue to deepen industry-academia-research collaboration with Polish universities, guiding students to broaden their professional horizons through international exchanges. While strengthening their cultural confidence, students will enhance their practical skills, striving to grow into engineering talents of the new era capable of shouldering the great mission of national rejuvenation.
