This event aims to reinforce the guiding role of assistant homeroom teachers, and precisely support freshmen in adapting to university life and clarifying their growth paths.Yang Ping, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the International School of Engineering, Tian Yu, counselor of ISE , and all freshman assistant homeroom teachers gathered for warm and in-depth exchanges. 活动伊始，杨萍书记结合学院综合发展布局与专业办学特色，为各位助理班主任全面介绍了学院国际化人才培养体系、国际交流平台与专业发展前景。她指出，助理班主任是衔接学院与新生的重要桥梁，肩负着引导新生适应、陪伴新生成长的重要职责。
At the outset of the event, Secretary Yang Ping, integrating the college's overall development layout and distinctive program features, gave the assistant homeroom teachers a comprehensive introduction to the college's international talent training system, international exchange platforms and professional development prospects. She pointed out that assistant homeroom teachers' acting as a vital bridge between the college and freshmen, and shoulder the important responsibility of guiding freshmen through their adaptation and accompanying their growth.
随后，杨萍书记与各位助班展开了亲切的面对面交谈。她逐一询问大家的工作开展情况、工作中遇到的难点，以及对接班级新生的入学适应状态，认真倾听每一位助班的工作感悟与困惑。针对助班们提出的学业与工作平衡、新生沟通技巧等问题，杨萍书记结合自身多年的党务思政工作、管理经验，用平实温暖的话语分享经验、给出建议，也结合学院国际化办学特色，为助班们明确了工作重点与成长方向。轻松融洽的交谈氛围，拉近了师生间的距离，也让每一位助班都感受到了学院的支持与期许。
Afterwards, Secretary Yang Ping engaged in warm face-to-face conversations with all the assistant homeroom teachers. She asked each one in detail about the progress of their work, the difficulties they had encountered, and the adaptation status of freshmen in their assigned classes, and listened attentively to every assistant's work insights and confusions. In response to questions raised by the assistants — such as balancing academic study and work, and communication skills with freshmen .Secretary Yang Ping drew on her many‑years of experience in Party‑building, ideological‑political work and administrative management to share practical experience and offer advice in plain, warm words. She also clarified key work priorities and growth directions for the assistants in line with the college's international education characteristics. The relaxed and harmonious conversation atmosphere narrowed the distance between teachers and students, and allowed every assistant homeroom teacher to feel the college's full support and sincere expectations.

During the Q&A and discussion session, all assistant homeroom teachers sorted through the speeches and practical demands of each freshman in their assigned classes one by one, and held in-depth exchanges on a wide range of issues including the award and honor evaluation system, academic planning, English learning, and campus life adjustment.
针对新生普遍关注的专业学习方法、大学学习节奏调整等共性困惑，田雨老师结合学院专业培养方案进行了系统介绍，给出了具体可行的学习建议；针对部分新生提出的职业发展、国际交流项目、考研留学规划等个性化问题，现场结合往届学生的发展案例逐一回应，共同探讨最优的沟通与解决方案。大家畅所欲言、集思广益，在交流中理清思路，在研讨中凝聚共识，切实为新生的每一项困惑都找到了合理的回应方向，也为助理班主任后续开展班级工作提供了清晰指引。
Regarding common concerns shared by freshmen such as methods for specialized course study and adjustment to university study pace, Teacher Tian Yu provided a systematic explanation in light of the college's professional training program and offered practical and feasible study suggestions. For individualized questions raised by some freshmen about career development, international exchange programs, postgraduate entrance exam and study abroad planning, the attendees responded to each case on site by drawing on the development experiences of former students, and jointly explored the optimal communication approaches and solutions. Everyone spoke freely and pooled their wisdom, clarifying thoughts and building consensus through discussions. This session effectively identified proper response directions for every confusion raised by freshmen, and also provided clear guidance for assistant homeroom teachers to carry out class work going forward.
